Family pictures

Here is the "support group" for Chris at the finish line. We were all chanting "Go, Chris, Go!!" with our cute little flags that Darlene made.
Now, the picture above is of Chris running across the finish line and the picture below is of the beginning of the race (still trying to get used to blogging pictures). If you look REALLY close at the bottom picture--you can see the very top of Chris's head on the right hand side at the back of the group. Chris did the 5 K run in 28 minutes--way to go Chris!

Here is the "parade crew" waiting for the parade to start. On the left side is my friend, Verna, who is my temple buddy and a really good friend. We had a lot of church members around us--it was fun.

We loved being with Gavin and seeing his happy smiles--both Dad and I spent a lot of time holding him and giving him lots of hugs and kisses. Thank you, Jason and Ellen, for sharing him with us.

This is Megan singing her "Mermaid song" with her friend Jessica. Isn't she cute in her mermaid costume!!
This is a picture of Megan and Kirsten after their dance recital with all of their flowers--we were sure proud of "our two girls" that day! They both performed so well and looked so beautiful in their costumes.

This is a picture taken at the reception for Pres. and Sis. Roberts (now Elder Roberts). The Roberts are standing next to us--then the Dotters--he is Dad's 1st Counselor and then the Bowmans--he is the Stake Clerk. You can see a little of the quilt that was made for Elder Roberts that is being displayed behind us. It was beautiful!

This is a picture of Sis. Prince and I in the kitchen at Girl's Camp. It is about 10:30 PM and we are cracking about 40 dozen eggs for scrambled eggs the next morning--at least we are still smiling!

Dad was in the kitchen about as much as we were and he has one of the big frying pans that we used to cook with. We couldn't have gotten through the week without him!
